Aging Stats.gov
This is an official web site of the Federal Interagency Forum on Aging-Related Statistics.  Established in 1986, the Forum encourages collaboration among federal agencies to improve the quality and usefulness of data on the aging population.  The Forum membership includes 13 federal agencies that produce or use statistics on aging.   The website provides a comprehensive list of links to important aging related statistical information.
 

Disability Statistics Center
The Center is based at the Institute for Health and Aging at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF).  The web site provides links for publications, finding disability data, understanding disability statistics, resources and search capabilities. 

Fact Stats A to Z from NCHS
The National Center for Health Statistics web site is a rich source of information about America’s health.  This is a unique public resource for health information that has links to additional sources of health information and provides electronic query to obtain answers to specific questions. 

Illinois Department of Health Statistics
A quick and convenient access to current health statistics.  The web site provides requests for birth certificate copies, browsing the Department's catalog of publications, the nearest local health department and the latest information about public health issues through news releases and HealthBeat.  

MedlinePlus Health Statistics
MedlinePlus brings together authoritative information from NLM, the National Institutes of Health (NIH), and other government agencies and health-related organizations. MEDLINE searches are included and give easy access to medical journal articles. 

National Association for Public Health Statistics and Information Systems (NAPHSIS)
NAPHSIS was formed in 1933 and is a national association of state vital records and public health statistics offices based in the Washington, DC area.  The web site provides news, membership, featured projects, monthly reports and links to other relevant sites.  You must be a member to access the Electronic User’s guide. 

National Center for Health Statistics (NCHS)
The National Center for Health Statistics (NCHS) is the Federal Government's principal vital and health statistics agency.  NCHS responds to requests for information on health status and utilization of health care resources statistics and for vital statistics. 

U.S. Department of Labor: Bureau of Labor Statistics
The Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) of the United States Department of Labor is the principal fact-finding agency for the Federal Government in the broad field of labor economics and statistics. The web site provides information for Programs and Surveys, Statistics, a Glossary, What’s New section and Search capabilities.
