National Center for Complementary and Alternative Medicine (NCCAM)

The National Center for Complementary and Alternative Medicine (NCCAM) is 1 of the 27 institutes and centers that make up the National Institutes of Health (NIH). NCCAM is dedicated to exploring complementary and alternative healing practices, training researchers, and disseminating authoritative information to the public and professionals. It is a searchable database of journal citations on complementary and alternative medicine. 

Rakel: Integrative Medicine, 2nd ed

This manual provides information to safely and effectively integrate complementary and alternative treatment modalities into clinical practice. It presents integrative treatments for a full range of diseases and conditions, including autism, stroke, chronic fatigue syndrome, and various forms of cancer.
