The AoA web site is designed to provide a comprehensive overview of a wide variety of topics, programs and services related to aging. The site provides detailed information about the Older Americans Act, the federal legislation establishing the AoA, and links to other resources.
This is an official web site of the Federal Interagency Forum on Aging-Related Statistics. Established in 1986, the Forum encourages collaboration among federal agencies to improve the quality and usefulness of data on the aging population. The Forum membership includes 13 federal agencies that produce or use statistics on aging. The website provides a comprehensive list of links to important aging related statistical information.
The Alzheimer’s Association, the world leader in Alzheimer research and support, is dedicated to finding prevention methods, treatments and an eventual cure for Alzheimer’s. The web site offers information for local chapters, library services, and education resources.

Lending Closet Directory:Used equipment in north and northwest Chicago suburbs
Seniors in Action, an aging at home equipment network, provides assistance in locating used equipment in the north and northwest Chicago metropolitan area. Equipment is generally loaned for up to six months at minimal or no cost. Donations are accepted.
