The Coalition is the nation’s leading organization on limb loss. Its goal is to empower people affected by limb loss to achieve their full potential through education, support and advocacy, and to promote limb loss prevention.

American Academy of Orthotists and Prosthetists (AAOP)
AAOP is dedicated to promoting professionalism and advancing the standards of patient care through education, literature, research, advocacy and collaboration.

American Orthotic and Prosthetic Association (AOPA)

AOPA is a national trade association committed to providing high quality, unprecedented business services and products to O&P professionals.

Association of Children's Prosthetic-Orthotic Clinics (ACPOC)
ACPOC is the primary resource for prosthetic and orthotic care for children and adolescents with orthopedic impairment. It Includes Find A Clinic page arrange by state.

Barr Foundation
The Barr Foundation assists amputees with prosthetic rehabilitation. It provides assistance to amputees domestically and internationally who would otherwise have no other financial resources.

Disabled American Veterans (DAV)
DAV's mission is to insure that the nation’s disabled veterans and their families are cared for through support and national legislation. DAV assists with more than 300,000 claims every year to obtain needed benefits through 100 offices throughout the United States and Puerto Rico.

Disabled People's International
It is a network of national organizations or assemblies of disabled people, established to promote human rights of disabled people through full participation, equalization of opportunity and development.

Disabled Sports USA (DSUSA)
DSUSA is a national nonprofit organization offers nationwide sports rehabilitation programs to anyone with a permanent disability such as amputations, spinal cord injury, and other neuromuscular and orthopedic conditions.

Limbless Association
The Association provides information and support to the limb-loss community through a variety of existing programs and services.

Limbs For Life
Limbs for Life Foundation is a global nonprofit organization dedicated to providing fully functional prosthetic care for individuals who cannot otherwise afford it.

LIMBS International
LIMBS International transforms the lives of amputees throughout the developing world by restoring their ability to walk. LIMBS design, create, and test new prosthetic devices in US research labs and in clinics throughout the developing world.

Mending Limbs Organization
Mending Limbs was created to help raise awareness of the Amputee Coalition of America as well as the advocacy for adequate prosthetic coverage in the state of Tennessee as well as across the nation.

National Amputation Foundation (NAF)
Since its inception, NAF dedicated all its efforts to helping veteran amputees. Since then, the Foundation has expanded its facilities to include civilian amputees as well. A home, hospital or nursing home visit is available for peer counseling. The donated medical equipment program is available to any person in need.

National Amputee Golf Association (NAGA)
NAGA brought its First Swing program to hospitals and rehabilitation centers throughout the U.S. The site includes the Amputee Golfer Magazine distributed to the members.

National Association for the Advancement of Orthotics and Prosthetics (NAAOP)
NAAOP is a nonprofit trade association dedicated to educating the public and promoting public policy that is in the interest of the O&P patient. Site includes Legislative Webcast.
