Articles are retrieved via a Keyword search and are organized into sections such as General Information, Inpatient Care, After Care, etc. You have the option of selecting which sections to print and in English or Spanish. You can also customize the printouts with information such as patient and caregiver names and special instructions.

The articles consist of several sections, named for example Signs and Symptoms, Causes, Rick Factors, Treatment, Self-care, Proper Use, Side Effects, etc. To get a printer-friendly version, click on Print this section or All sections.
Click on the Patient Handouts tab and enter the topic in the search box. Most articles are written at a 6th- to 8th-grade reading level and are 1 to 2 pages in length.
