Archives of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (APM&R)
The Archives of PM&R is the premier journal in the specialty of physical medicine and rehabilitation and is an official publication of the American Congress of Rehabilitation and the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. According to the Institute for Scientific Information’s 2005 Impact Factor ranking (for the year 2004), Archives continues to be by far the most heavily cited journal in the rehabilitation field.
American Journal of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation
The journal focuses on the practice, research and educational aspects of physical medicine and rehabilitation and publishes cutting-edge basic and clinical research, clinical case reports and in-depth topical reviews of interest to rehabilitation professionals. American Journal of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation was preceded by American Journal of Physical Medicine.
Critical Reviews in Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine
Thejournal provides reviews of well-established diagnostic methods, clinical modalities and techniques, and rehabilitative methodologies for specific etiologies amenable to treatment by physical medicine. The journal appears quarterly, and includes from one to four articles that summarize and evaluate the current status of an important topic. Topics and authors are chosen by the Editorial Board members, all of whom are leading practitioners, researchers, and active contributors to the literature in their area of expertise.
PM&R is the new official scientific journal of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (AAPM&R). It is a monthly, peer reviewed, scholarly publication that advances education and impacts the specialty of physical medicine and rehabilitation through the timely delivery of clinically relevant and evidence-based research and review information.
American Journal of Nursing (AJN)
The American Journal of Nursing the oldest and largest circulating nursing journal in the world, is an award-winning, peer-reviewed, monthly journal. As the official journal of the American Nurses Association, AJN provides a vehicle for inquiry into important policies and professional issues, while offering a global perspective on nursing.
American Journal of Occupational Therapy (AJOT)
AJOT is the official peer-reviewed journal of the American Occupational Therapy Association that focuses on research, practice, and health care issues in the field of occupational therapy. The tables of contents with abstracts are available online to everyone; full text articles can be accessed by AOJT members only. Please visit your library or contact the library staff for print copies of the journal.
American Journal of Speech-Language Pathology (AJSLP)
An official journal of the American Speech-Language Association, AJSLP pertains to all aspects of clinical practice in speech-language pathology.
Aphasiology is concerned with all aspects of language impairment and disability and related disorders resulting from brain damage. It provides a forum for the exchange of knowledge and the dissemination of current research and expertise in all aspects of aphasia and related topics, from all disciplinary perspectives.
Brain provides researches with the finest original contributions in neurology. Its citation rating has been one of the highest for neurology journals, and it has consistently published papers which have become classics in the field.
The Brain Injury is the official journal of the International Association for the Study of Traumatic Brain Injury (IASTBI) and the European Brain Injury Society (EBIS). It covers all aspects of brain injury from basic science, neurological techniques and outcomes to vocational aspects.
Dysphagia is a multidisciplinary journal devoted to swallowing and its disorders. Its scope includes all aspects of normal and dysphagic ingestion involving the mouth, pharynx, and esophagus.
Journal of Manipulative and Physiological Therapeutics (JMPT)

Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA)
JAMA, published since 1883, is an international peer-reviewed general medical journal published 48 times per year. It is the most widely circulated medical journal in the world and is published in multiple international editions and languages.
Published since 1823, The Lancet is the world’s leading medical journal. The journal was, and remains independent, without affiliation to a medical or scientific organization and authoritative voice in global medicine.
Muscle & Nerve
Muscle & Nerve is an international and interdisciplinary publication of original contributions, in both health and disease, concerning studies of the muscle, the neuromuscular junction, the peripheral motor, sensory, and autonomic neurons, and the central nervous system where the behavior of the peripheral nervous system is clarified.
