Culture Clues are tip sheets for clinicians, designed to increase awareness about concepts and preferences of patients from diverse cultures. Cultures include Albanian, Chinese, Deaf, Hard of Hearing, Korean, Latino, Russian, Somali, Vietnamese. Also available are tip sheets regarding end-of-life care for these cultures: Latino, Russian, Vietnamese.

EthnoMed
A joint project of University of Washington Health Sciences Library and the Harborview Medical Centers, this Web site provides health information about cultural, medical, and other issues pertinent to the care of immigrant and refugee groups. EthnoMed is designed to be used in clinics by care providers in the few minutes before seeing a patient. The web site currently has specific pages for 22 ethnic groups. 

Multicultural Health Communication

Multicultural Communication provides a number of services to health professionals working with ethnic communities, including information and advice on appropriate ways to communicate with people of culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) backgrounds.

Multi-Cultural Resources for Health Information

In 2000, the National Library of Medicine (NLM) created the Office of Outreach and Special Populations (OOSP).
