About the Library
Borrowing PrivilegesAll Marianjoy staff, physicians, and residents are entitled to borrow materials from the library. An online record is created by the library staff for all library users. You are responsible for materials checked out on your library account. Check-out periods, Limits, and RenewalsBooks from the general collection can be checked out for two weeks and audiovisuals for one week. Renewals are permitted unless otherwise stated. Materials which have been requested by another user may not be renewed. Availability status appears in the Library catalog and is clearly marked on each item. Missing ItemsIf you cannot find an item listed as "available", check with the library staff. They will look for the item; if the item cannot be found they may be able to substitute other materials or find the item in another library.
